Mission Statement
Dedicated towards building balanced men, the West Virginia Gamma Chapter strives on building character in its fraternal men through means of SigEp's core values: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. With these pillars practiced in our day-to-day lives, we not only strive to be a better version of ourselves every day, but also pushing others to improve themselves.
Our Program
In this chapter, as well as many across the United States, brothers will learn the significance of being a SigEp, as well as how important it is to recognize that you are not only willing to dedicate to helping yourself succeed, but also your fellow fraternity brothers. This is done through a system called the Balanced Man Program (or BMP for short), which takes the values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, and demonstrates on how each brother should use these values when not only focusing on Greek Life, but their daily and academic lives as well, pushing them to be someone of great potential and confidence.
Who We Are
Based in Huntington, West Virginia, the West Virginia Gamma Chapter was founded on December 6th, 1947, and proudly supports its dedicated members of the fraternity, with more than 1,000 brothers in this fraternity's lifetime! We want SigEp at Marshall University to be recognized as a fraternity of safety, where the brothers and the house itself are a safe place to go to, whether in time of trouble, or just for a place of learning for fellow classmates.
